Who we are

Sprout Squad is provided by Balint Biro EV, trading as Archlight Labs, Hungary (“Archlight Labs”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions, email archlightlabs@gmail.com.

This policy covers the Sprout Squad mobile game and the Sprout Squad pages on archlightlabs.com. The privacy practices of Google, Apple and other platform providers are also governed by their own notices.

Data we handle

Game progress and settings

Campaign state, settings, earned items, purchases and the active garden are stored on your device. If you use Google Play Games or Apple Game Center/iCloud, the game can also store a copy through that platform. Google or Apple handles your platform identity; Sprout Squad does not create a separate player account.

Purchases

The game receives product identifiers, transaction or purchase tokens, purchase status and entitlement information from Google Play or Apple. We use this information to grant purchases, prevent duplicate grants, restore eligible purchases and address fraud or refunds. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Optional analytics

If you consent, the game may send a random app-local installation identifier, session identifier, device-performance tier, app and content version, deterministic garden seed, and named gameplay events. Events do not include player-entered text, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The installation identifier is generated separately from device and advertising identifiers.

Optional crash and performance reports

When enabled in Settings, the game may send crash traces, device model or performance tier, operating-system and app version, frame timing, and save-operation error codes. These reports help us diagnose stability and performance problems.

Optional rewarded advertising

Ads are shown only after you choose a rewarded placement. An ad request may include general device and network information, coarse location inferred from an IP address, consent state, and an advertising identifier where you have permitted its use. Contextual or non-personalized ads are used where required or selected. We do not sell personal information.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. Support tooling may prefill the app version, platform and anonymous installation identifier. Please do not send passwords or payment-card information.

This website

The website uses browser storage only to remember a cookie preference. Optional website analytics are currently disabled. Our hosting provider may process standard request logs such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamp to deliver and secure the site.

How and why we use data

• Operate local and optional platform cloud saves.
• Complete purchases, restore entitlements and prevent duplicate or fraudulent grants.
• Deliver a rewarded ad that you explicitly request.
• Send a notification category that you separately enable.
• Understand aggregate game use and improve stability when you enable the relevant setting.
• Reply to support requests and meet legal obligations.

Where European data-protection law applies, these activities rely on performance of our agreement with you, your consent for optional processing, our legitimate interests in security and support, or compliance with law. You can withdraw consent in the game’s Settings without losing access to the core game.

Service providers and transfers

Depending on your platform, choices and features used, data may be processed by:

• Google: Google Play, Play Games Services, Firebase and Google AdMob.
• Apple: App Store, Game Center, iCloud and related platform services.
• Cloudflare: delivery and security for archlightlabs.com.

These providers may process data outside your country. They apply their own legal transfer mechanisms and privacy terms. See Google’s Privacy Policy, Firebase privacy information, Apple’s Privacy Policy, and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

We do not share game data with unrelated data brokers.

Your choices

• Analytics and crash reporting have separate controls in Settings.
• Personalized advertising and advertising-identifier access require consent where applicable.
• Rewarded ads are optional and require an affirmative choice each time.
• Each notification category is separately opt-in and can be disabled in the game or device settings.
• Campaign play works without an Archlight Labs account.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Platform cloud saves remain according to your Google Play Games or iCloud controls. Analytics and crash information is kept only for the configured operational period and is then aggregated or deleted. Support messages are normally removed when no longer needed to resolve the request or meet legal obligations.

Records required to validate a non-consumable entitlement, prevent a duplicated transaction, process a refund, or comply with tax and accounting law may be retained for the life of the entitlement or the applicable statutory period. Store operators retain their own transaction records under their policies.

Because there is no Archlight Labs player account, deleting local data normally means clearing app storage or uninstalling. You can manage platform cloud data through Google Play Games or iCloud. See our deletion instructions or contact us for help.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to your local data-protection authority.

Email us with your platform and the anonymous installation ID shown by the game’s support tools. We may need limited information to verify a request, but do not send payment-card details. Some data held solely by Google or Apple must be requested from that provider.

Children

Sprout Squad is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal data directly from a child under 13 without valid authorization, we will delete it. Parents or guardians can contact us with concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game or legal requirements change. We will change the effective date above and give an in-app or store-listing notice before a material change to optional processing takes effect where required.
