Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Balint Biro EV, trading as Archlight Labs, Hungary (“Archlight Labs”, “we”, “us”), for the Sprout Squad mobile game and related services. By downloading or using the game, you agree to these terms and the applicable platform’s rules.

Sprout Squad is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you have not reached the age at which you can agree to these terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you. Do not use the game if you cannot lawfully agree.

Your license to play

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Sprout Squad for non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the relevant app-store rules. The game and its code, artwork, music, characters, names and other content remain owned by Archlight Labs or its licensors.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the game or any virtual item. You may make personal gameplay recordings and streams, but you may not present our assets as your own or separately sell or redistribute them.

Fair and lawful use

You must not:

• Use the game for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity.
• Exploit bugs, alter transactions, falsify receipts, automate play, or bypass security measures.
• Distribute modified copies, malware, or tools intended to interfere with the game or its services.
• Reverse engineer the game except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
• Interfere with another person’s device, platform account or use of the game.

We may correct invalid progress or entitlements and restrict access to connected services when reasonably necessary to protect players, purchases or the game. We will not limit mandatory legal rights.

Purchases and virtual items

Sprout Squad is free to download and may offer optional digital items. The store purchase screen shows the item, local price and applicable terms before you confirm. Google Play or Apple processes payment under its own terms. Prices may include or exclude taxes as shown by the store.

Petals and other virtual items are licensed for use only inside Sprout Squad. They have no cash value, are not legal currency, cannot be transferred between players, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged outside the game. Purchased virtual currency does not expire merely because it has not been used.

Consumable items normally cannot be restored after they have been delivered and used. Eligible permanent purchases can be restored on the same platform account. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, refund requests are handled by the platform where the purchase was made. A refunded, reversed or fraudulent transaction may result in the related unspent currency or entitlement being removed.

Purchases are optional. Sprout Squad does not sell paid randomized rewards. A guardian or other gameplay unlock offered for Petals may also be earnable through play, as stated in the game.

Optional rewarded ads

The game may offer an optional ad in exchange for a clearly described in-game reward. You choose whether to start it, and declining does not block core campaign play. Ad availability depends on region, consent, connectivity and the advertising provider and is not guaranteed.

A reward is granted after the advertising provider confirms completion. If a completed ad does not grant the stated reward, follow the steps on the support page.

Platforms and third-party services

Store purchases, platform achievements, cloud saves, analytics, crash reporting and advertising may rely on services provided by Google, Apple or other disclosed providers. Their terms and privacy notices govern their services. We are not responsible for an outage or account action controlled solely by a platform, but we will provide reasonable support for Sprout Squad.

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Updates and availability

We may update the game to add content, rebalance systems, fix defects, maintain security or comply with platform and legal requirements. An update may be required for connected features. We may retire a connected service when continued operation is no longer reasonably possible, with notice where practical and required.

You may stop using the game at any time. We may terminate this license for a material breach after reasonable notice where notice and an opportunity to cure are appropriate. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership and responsibility provisions, will survive.

Disclaimers and responsibility

We work to provide a reliable game, but software can contain errors and connected services can be interrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the game is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to those rights, neither party is responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

Governing law and changes

Hungarian law governs these terms, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections or courts available under the law of your country of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue.

We may update these terms when the game, platform rules or law changes. We will revise the effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect means the updated terms apply, except where additional consent is legally required.
